Nina V is the design n° 182 of Jack Laurent Giles . She was built by the italian shipyard Beltrami, one of the very best of the world. in 1954. As reported by Yachting World Annual of 1954, Nina V was able to beat the fastest yacht of the fleet, Miranda IV ,another Giles design of 1951, in one of the very first races of her life, between Genoa and Sanremo ,in  light weather condictions  earning immediately a reputation of very fast racer. In 1957 she won the important offshore race La Giraglia , this time in very hard conditions , gale wind and stormy weather... So she was named a racer for any weather! Still raced up to the 70'ies, she became a cruising yacht later and she is ready now to come back and raceamong the classic yacht fleet . -
